The Donut Doctor is a Los Angeles-based guitarist and educator with a degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from Berklee College of Music, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned a minor in Harmony. With a passion for helping guitarists grow, he has taught thousands of students worldwide, led masterclasses at colleges and universities, and released extensive lesson content that has transformed players at every level.
His teaching focuses on bridging the gap between technical fundamentals and real-world musicality, helping intermediate players break through painful plateaus. The Donut Doc combines academic training with years of industry experience to offer a well-rounded and practical approach to modern guitar education.
As a Grammy-nominated guitarist, he has toured and performed with artists like Jung Kook (BTS), Sam Smith, and Fletcher, and performed on stages from Madison Square Garden to Coachella, as well as multiple TV appearances such as Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, GMA, and more.
